Picked August 13th from Rock Farm Vineyard in Little Rock of LA County, we foot treaded this fruit and left it on the skins to ferment for 9days. We placed the wine in neutral French oak barrels to age for 11 months.
*Lush blackberry and dried fig lead the way, layered with soft notes of maple and caramel. Gentle aging in neutral French oak adds hints of cedar, tobacco, vanilla, and cinnamon spice without overpowering the fruit. Smooth, balanced, and quietly complex—an easygoing red made for sharing and lingering conversations.
